Thanks to our wonderful participants and sponsors, we have been able to raise over $15,000 for Driving Jacks with our last three 5K's.

About Driving Jacks:
Driving Jacks is a 501c(3) non-profit, student volunteer run, designated driver program at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. Driving Jacks provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental safe rides to SFASU students and the Nacogdoches community. Our hours of operation are between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. To date, Driving Jacks has provided over 24,000 safe rides home!

About the 5K:
The Driving Jacks 5K Fun Run and Raffle is hosted by SFASU Driving Jacks Alumni as a fundraiser benefiting Driving Jacks.
Driving Jacks relies on private donations, fundraisers, and grants to pay for significant expenses such as rental car costs, gas, insurance, and much more. Because of limited funds they cannot always operate enough cars to meet their ever-increasing demand. Furthermore, current fundraising sources will eventually be outweighed by the increasing costs of expenses, potentially placing Driving Jacks' future operations in jeopardy.
We want to ensure their service and responsible choice message will continue well into the future. Additionally, free of financial restraints, Driving Jacks can focus on improving efficiency, and proactively assisting the start-up of other safe-ride programs throughout the USA.

2015 race committee is excited to see you at the start line in April!
All of us are passionate about Driving Jacks mission and seeing it
continue for many years to come. We volunteer our time each year to
give back to the organization that helped us for many years during
our time at SFASU!
Courtney Mayfield-Courtney has been involved with Driving Jacks since 2010 where she served as the Deputy of Fundraising and the Treasurer. This is her first year to be Race Director for the 5K!
Hector-Hector
has been involved in Driving Jacks since 2007 and served as President
from 2008-2010. He has helped with the 5K each year, either as a
committee member or volunteer.
Brittany-Brittany
has been involved with Driving Jacks since 2008 and served as
President from 2011-2012, and currently serves as the Faculty Advisor.
Courtney Short-Courtney
has been involved with Driving Jacks since 2010 and was the Treasurer
of Driving Jacks in 2011/2012. She has helped with the 5K each year
since the first year in 2012.
Katie-Katie is a current Driving Jacks member, serving both as the Vice President and the Driving Jacks 5K Nac Committee Director.
